PERIMETER AND AREA OF POLYGONS

Use the following sight to study, practice and research perimeter and area of the polygons found on this page. Read and study the information, do the activities and prepare a power point presentation that includes names, definitions and formulas for determining the perimeter and area of the Polygons included on this page.

Click on each lesson of the perimeter and area part of this page. Within each lesson

  1. read and record all facts then 2) click on the blue words for further information. Keep track of all definitions. 3) Do the five examples at the end of the text. You will now see a smaller version of the work area. 4) Click on the next section and repeat the steps listed above.

When done click on worksheets and then choose the section for perimeter and area and print out the page. This sheet will need to be handed in this week.

 

Go back to the workbox and choose Challenge Exercises. Do these 10 questions and record your results on your homework sheet.
