Adding images to your Freewebs page.

Follow these steps:

1. Find the image you want to use. COPY THE WEBSITE INFORMATION SO YOU MAY INCLUDE IT IN YOUR WORKS CITED PAGE OR PASTE IT BELOW THE IMAGE WHEN YOU PUT IT ON YOUR PAGE.

2. SAVE the image on your desktop in your Webpics folder. DO NOT JUST COPY. Give each picture a short name that makes sense.

3. Log in to your Freewebs account. Click on the Site Manager link.

4. On the left, click on Upload Files. In the next window that opens, click on upload a file.

5. In the new window that pops up, click on Browse to look for the image file you have saved on your desktop. Select it, then click the Upload File button.  This puts the file on the server at Freewebs so you can place it on one of your pages.

REPEAT THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE UPLOADED ALL THE IMAGES YOU ARE GOING TO USE. **This is usually SLOW so have something else to do while you are waiting.

6. Now click on Edit for the page in your website that you want to add images to.

7. In the edit window, look for the little icon of a mountain with the sun over it. Click that to add an image.

8. You can then choose where you would like any text to appear around the image. Finally, choose the image you want on that page. When you click on it's name it will appear on your Edit page. Then you can resize it and move it somewhat.
